Earlier in the year, Alan took part in an International Film School Cologne project, "Kosmos", written and directed by Changzhen Zheng.
The interactive short film sees Alan co-lead opposite veteran actor, Levente Molnár ("Son of Saul", "Sunset") as two down-on-their-luck immigrants in London whose paths cross one faithful night when the Komsos satellite is expected to re-enter the atmosphere. "Kosmos" is expected to make its round at film festivals later this year and early 2023. The trailer can be viewed below, as well as a short interview with the writer and director, Changzhen Zheng.

"Missile From The East" premiered on Sky Documentaries in late September, and remains available to view via stream or download on Sky and Now TV for a limited period until 18th October 2021. The feature length documentary film, directed by Justin Stokes, tells the true story of motorcycle racer, Ernst Degner and his family's daring escape from East Germany during the height of the Cold War.

The eight part series from the production company, Two Brothers Pictures ("The Missing", "Liar") stars John Simm of "Life on Mars" and "Doctor Who" fame and "Silent Witness"'s Emilia Fox, as well as Hong Kong veteran actor Anthony Wong ("Infernal Affairs" trilogy, "Hard Boiled"). The production had began and completed it's filming in Hong Kong during late 2017, and remainder of the shoot will take place in U.K. More information on "White Dragon" can be found on ITV Media's website. It includes footage of Alan's work from AMC's hit martial arts series, "Into the Badlands" and the acclaimed UK action short comedy "Soho Jimbo".
Alan Wai's Action Reel can be viewed on the link below: "Soho Jimbo" has made it as part of the official selection at the 25th Raindance Film Festival. The action comedy short was directed by Chris Chung ("Handuken", "Wok"), produced by Christine Cheung ("Lovelorn"), with cinematography by Kit Fraser (the BAFTA winning feature "Under the Shadow"); it came to fruition as part of the 2016 ARRI Alexa Challenge in association with Directors UK.
Alongside Alan, the short features a host of British Chinese and East Asian talents including Daphne Cheung ("Doctor Who" - Season 10), Wai Wong ("The Dark Knight"), Naomi Christie ("Lilting"), David Cheung ("Mortedcai"), and Bruce Chong ("Now You See Me 2"). The production enjoyed a successful tour, with majority of the performances sold out and with full audience in attendance, playing at cities including Leeds, Manchester, Oxford, London, Liverpool, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Edinburgh. "From Shore to Shore" (written by Mary Cooper in collaboration with MW Sun, and directed by David Tse) gained very positive reviews from critics and audiences alike.
